SBT will celebrate Catholic Education Week, beginning May 2nd. The students will engage in many activities that honour our Catholic Faith and focus on this year’s theme: Nurturing Hope
Ash Wednesday is a day of penitential prayer and fasting, which marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. We are entering a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
During February, we honour Black History, people in Canada celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians and their communities who, throughout history, have done so much to make our country the culturally diverse, compassionate, and prosperous nation it is today. Join us and celebrate!
All students engaged in a week of thought provoking and informative activities about bullying and bully prevention. Students were encouraged to express their feelings and knowledge about the topic through creative art, poems and essay writing. The central messages: “Be kind every time” “treat your neighbour the way you want to be treated”, “I matter, you matter, we ALL matter.”
