On September 29, 2023, students and staff from across the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) will commemorate Orange Shirt Day, National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Staff and students are encouraged to wear orange to acknowledge the impact of the residential school system, raise awareness and honour Indigenous communities, to promote reconciliation.
St. Benedict is thankful to have a positive working relationship with the parents/guardians of the community. Being part of the St. Benedict Catholic School Council (SBT CSC) is a wonderful way to provide feedback and support while continuing to foster this relationship.
